The 2nd April was Autism Awareness Day. This day has been dedicated to people with autism by the United Nations since 2008, which aimed in raising awareness, fostering acceptance and disseminating knowledge about autism in society.
Events took place all over the world with, and for people with autism, wearing blue in a show of support. Many buildings were also on this day illuminated in blue.
At the Autism Therapy Centre in Zurich (ATZZ) all kids and therapists came to the centre wearing blue on this year’s Autism Awareness Day. Our house was decorated with blue balloons and blue lights. Here we are proud to utilise ABA in supporting children with autism and their families.
